Matt has had many roles in the financial industry, but being an investment advisor is the highlight of his career. Matt studied economics at Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, and has a passion for market analytics and economic trends. He is experienced at developing investment strategies and strives to be your go-to-advisor for portfolio planning and distribution strategy. Matt prides himself on staying up to date with market research and specializes in selecting portfolio managers for a client's specific needs and goals. Fun fact: if you call in, he will likely be able to tell you exactly where we left off with your investment/tax plan, how your money is invested, and how your investments are performing without even looking. He has an amazing memory and attention to detail, and although he manages more than 500 client accounts, he finds time for each individual client on a daily basis. Like Kelsey, he also specializes in the teacher pension and Social Security offsets and can consult on educator benefits.
In his spare time, Matt enjoys playing tennis and golf. He is a member of a local USTA tennis team and competes in singles tournaments around the state. In 2025, he was one of 3 players in his division selected to represent Texas at the USTA National Championships in Florida.
